AT Tyres on standard Disco - which ones??

<< < (3/5) > >>

Devon-Rover:
BFG vote here. Have them on the disco when i brought her, And even if it does bankrupt me for a few months i shall be replacing them with the same again. Very impressed with them on and off.

Range Rover Blues:
BFG AT.  If you want a tow barge then you need a tyre with a stiff sidewall, perhaps better to avoid the Good Year Wrangler from what I've heard then.

BFG is the most agressive of the common AT being a true 50/50 on/off road tyre.  Still quiet to run, good handling, great in the wet/snow/mud.

My LSE eats them because when new the tread can move around under hard cornering, don't drive like you stole it though and all should be well.

lambert:
michelin xpc's, had a day at tong last week in the rain on their red routes with the odd black too and only had a quarter turn of wheel spin all day and then only on a 45deg ascent. size wise i have 750r16 with the only mod being to space out the rear wings to avoid the camel cut.

Phat Face:
Another vote here for BFG 235/70's.  Had them on my D2 and they didn't let me down off or on road.  No issue with road noise either, and miles of road wear so work out as good value.

J B:
a fourth for AT2's, just been allover the plains on sunday , no trouble atall
