Fuel prices
littlepow:
Will stop commuting by car first, last thing to go will be the 90. But I try and keep below 5000 miles a year as it is anyway.

I looked at not taking the car, and going by bus.... result was into work early and not able to get home till after half six so that wasnt very pratical. Currently I am spending about £75 a week in fuel, just going to and from work in the 110. Im off to look at a rover 420D at least it will be better fuel econ than the lanny. My other option is move to a job closer to home, but when you live in the middle of knowhere thats a bit difficult.
What is the limit when we all say enough is enough? And actually get out there and show the bunch of cronies that are in power that we are not sheep and wont be rolled over time and time again!! Not that Im calling for a revolution but the farmers wont be able to cope over the summer harvest if the fuel goes up much further... Food cost is going to rise, not that it already has... Haulage costs are going to sky rocket pushing up goods and services.... The only thing thats guaranteed not to rise is wages.......
Where does it all end.........................

Been looking at that It's £1.17/l in the tesco near here diesel isn't much more, so it's not worth risking my injector pump.

Seeing as how everything is so expensive ill keep on playing wiht cars as the alternative is sitting still dooing nothing, or worse, daytime TV.

I'm using the Disco less and less. Saving it now just for when I absolutely need to. I can only see fuel prices spiralling ever higher. I'd love to run it on veg oil but it's a TD5.
