Fuel prices
Wireless:
I'm not sure, I've been running it on LPG for over nine years, and the price per litre has risen by just over 20p in that time.
I've been watching fuel prices locally, which seem cheap in comparison to other areas of the country (109.9p), and Unleaded has been rising by one or two pence per litre per week for about three months, sometimes a penny over a weekend.
Every three to four months I get a shock when I have to refill the tank with Unleaded.
I'll probably keep it another couple of years and review the situation again, which will probably mean I'll be buying a 4.4 Rangy (they will be cheap second-hand), and getting a PRINS LPG conversion done, with bigger LPG tank(s) than the current Disco.
Won't everyone else?

For me its a combi of the price for road tax and fuel is putting me off now.
I debating getting rid of the 4x4 and going down the cheaper road... but are not sure at the moment.

I'm lucky as I have a Biodiesal supplier about 4 min drive from me, it 95p per litre at the moment. Slowly switching over to 100% for the summer. The thing is, there are not many vehicles that can tow 2.5 tonnes plus legally - what do you do?
Boddle:
Wouldn't be much point selling the Landy any alternative would cost as much or more to run or I wouldn't be interested.
When the debt collectors came to cover the cost of credit need to fuel it.
discowoman:
well this is a bit academic as we have got rid of the disco and brought a Mondeo Zetec...got fed up of driving around to find a bio supplier that A- had some, and B- was still in business!..also putting £70-£80 a week in a vehicle that rarely went more than 30 miles from home (apart from 1 off journeys) was a bit galling..would have gone for a really small vehicle, but with 2 adults and 3 kids + 1 rotty we had to compromise..still not fantastic on juice, but for £20 of fuel we are getting approx 40-50 miles more.
Miss the comfort and high driving position but having something in my back pocket sort of makes up for it!
