piglet, she told me shed just passed her test yesterday, and i know some female drivers are very good, it was just unfortunate another 'accident' i have been involved in has been caused by a woman.
dont get me wrong i am far far from perfect and had 3 or 4 accidents, 2 corkers!

--- Quote from: "Ralph" ---Must admit i thought the same a bit too much blame on women men are worse for sure.
Yes i am a bloke but big enough to admit that most women are much more careful than men.
Blokes tend too spend more time ogling women drivers than men so they are not getting the wider picture.
I also think that winches should be banned on any vehicle used on the road, afterall your hardly gonna use it there are you. How often on here do you see modded up trucks parked on the drive on a housing estate.
One more thing if you had laughed at me i would have stuck you very shiney probably unused up your rear end.

I disagree, men and women are as bad as each other! the problem is some people just put the art of driving 4th or 5th on their list of things to do while driving!!
As for banning winches from road going vehicles???? what the ????? How are you going to get to where you are going off road if you can't drive on the road?? And also I have seen many cars recovered from crashing into a field by a winch equipped vehicle that happened to be passing!!
There may well be shiney winches parked on housing estates, but think about it, If someone is responsible in their ownership, then they will clean their vehicle and winch ASAP so leaving it shiney. I would rather that than the numpties that leave the mud hanging off cos they think it "looks cool"

HI,
i live near a nice selection of windy roads - we have recently had a death because a kid of 17 passed his test, next day borrowed his mums car and promptly drove into a tree on one of these windy roads.
Unfortunately he, like so many other young drivers, appeared to believe because he could do it on the racing games on the computer - he could do it for real on the road.
i meet a lot of these around our way - and have seen horses very frightened because of them
regards
ela
