juddering and clunking ?
bigfatsi:
Could it not be a diff on the way out? Try disconnecting either the front or back prop and drive it in diff-lock. Then switch it and try again. At least this will tell you if it's the front or rear part of the drivetrain. If neither makes a difference, you've narrowed it down to a common cause ie Gearbox/tranfer etc.
Makes sense to me, although I've just come in from the pub and may not be thinking straight!!!

Sounds to me like your on the right line of thought Dan, there's no way a clutch that new should ever be slipping already!
However unlikley tho it's probably worth checking your brakes, something like a cracked brake disc will cause most of what your describing!
Like you say tho it's a bit of an arse, looks like the gearbox is gona have to come of anyway if your clutch is misbehaving, probably worth having a word with Simon about it before you do tho! :?

not break discs,
tinks, the sound and symtoms to me, are asif the transmission has got some serious winde up in it, just like the center diff is semi-in or having to different diff ratio's fitted, but jack the wheels up affter a run, and nuffing
its really confusing
afink what im going do is, giv simon a ring soon as he's recovered from MT's
i need to look at my clutch anyhow, so when the box's are out, im going swap them with 2 fresh units see if that sorts the job out
if not back to drawing board

i would say its the handbrake sticking on. if it does not full disengage you get a cluncking and a juddering as you slow down. you will find its probaly very dirty inside and will need a good clean. Nothing expensive. I know as my disco did it and the in laws disco did it. just try pushing the handbrake down more when slowing and it will probley stop it
extreme90:
still does it without handbreak drum on
dont ask how i no
dan
