Sounds like a good plan to me cos i'm all out of other slightly probable, easier solutions!!
If your gearbox if whinning & your clutch is slipping its worth doing anyway!!

mountings are all ok,
did you have to ask tinks :roll: , well, was eliminating props, so when the back one was off, when i was trying it, went down road, felt a little jerk then a clunk :shock: .......[Edited] now i thought......pulled in.....handbreak on, nuffing there :shock: , look in rear view mirror theres my handbreak drum rolling down road :lol:
but it still juddered n clunked stopping again :evil:

how is the centre diff?
could be breaking up in side & when it does it dont go anywhere locking it in 4wd
