juddering and clunking ?

back now, no didnt manage speak to si, as ive been in bed past couple of days ill  :roll:

mike, my thoughts are center diff  :?

personaly to me, it seems like there is a s*** load of winde up in the trans, but nuffing when i jack any of the wheels up  :roll:

on a old disco we had many moons back, it got stuck in center diff, and when cornering, it was doing what mine is doing now, except mine does it when slowing down  :?

bit confused, so whole lots coming out when get around to it

yup,
found problem when re-sealing my front diff  :roll:
pull drivers side shaft n cv out....fine no problems

went to pull passenger side shaft and cv out...shaft stayed there....cv came out  :roll:  :roll:

when fitting the cv's to the ashcroft shafts the retainer popped off the shaft and found itself floating around inside the cv until it wedged itself permenently into the cage  :roll:

replaced cv, all ok now
