My mother was born and raised at the foot of the mountain and I know some of the area (I should make more of an effort to learn more  :oops: )

We saw that!! We were crossing the A66 on Sunday (about 2.30) and as you say, it was fantastic as you climb out into the sunshine and the valley was covered in white fluffy stuff (I'm sure that's the technical term!!).

I'm amazed anyone would want to sleep in there. Last timed I looked inside it stank of p!ss. If it wasn't raining I would sleep outside.

It used to quite clean, even spotless in there  :?

It got so cold in there we moved outside with the bivibags , condensation was dripping down off the tin roof onto us before it froze  :shock:

Alot better outside  :roll:
