I hate ANC as they never leave anything for me round the back or they get the wrong address etc etc.

When you order things you can actualy ask Paddocks to use another courier. ANC is their default one but they use another company which I cant remember off the top of my head which one but I always ask for their other courier.

Not many people know that! Hope this helps you out in the future

Never had a prob with ANC but have with other couriers. They couldn't find our house even with directions and a mobile contact number.  It took 6 months to get a hard disk drive delivered from Southampton to Derbyshire.  When I ordered a new cam from RPi they also used that carrier, DOH!   ended up in their warehouse looking for my parcel litterally going through stacks of boxes as their guy couldn't find it, there were stacks of boxes infront of the rows of vans that seem to be used to stop the vans from hitting the far side of the warehouse when they come in. We eventually found it but when we opened it some of the parts were damaged, no surprises really.

And people / tv programs say Royal Mail is bad, it is the same accross the board with all courier companies I am sure.

Had a problem with Business Post (Birmingham) in the past. Delivery driver thought my parts was enjoying the ride.

Put a card through the door saying collect from hub following day, went down, "sorry mate package still on van for second delivery attempt". Fair enough I thought, rushed home and waied in all day, no attempt to deliver  :x Emailed them to say make sure package left for collection, reply 'call down tomorrow after 11am'. Went down at midday "sorry mate package still on van"   so I said "can you make sure it's here tomorrow and I'll collect.

Went down Saturday morning to collect, "you're package isn't here, must be on the van awaiting delivery". By this time I was raging and then a chat walked over and asked what the problem was, so I told him. He went of to find the package and after half an hour came back with it. He explained he was one of the hub managers and had only popped in to collect some paperwork to work from home over the weekend. Luck for me he was bothered because no one else there seems to be and my head gasket parts would have still been given a ride  :x
