POTASH:
ive had no problem with ANC ,and when im not in they leave it with neighbour

Tigger:
The quality of carriers varies wildly (and I mean *wildly*) from company to company and even from depot to depot within any given company.

They also will tend to go through phases as the depot staff change.

The supplier should be the first point of contact, as they can normally provide tracking information.  As Bob has found, if the carrier customer services are hopeless, then it makes it all very much harder

I have found paddocks to be very good in this respect. 3 emails per order notifying me at every stage what is going on their end. The last email giving order ref number and  ANC consignment number.

I have no problem with companies screwing up occasionaly (everybody is human after all) but a 100% fowl up rate over 2 weeks is pushing the bounderies. To top it all off customer services simply trying to pass the buck and muddy the waters is not acceptable. I would have been much happier if  the telephone person had said "oooopppppssss somebody screwed up somewhere lets ring a few people and see whats happened and get it sorted for you".

Mark2Disco:

ok  dont blame me but i used to work for ANC i can now tell you something that will shock you  i used to be main transport for south west meaning i went to newcastle under lyme  each night and ive seen what they were up to when they sort out your parcels they employ mostly  imagrants that do not give a dame about your package  ive seen them sling them around and even kick them all over the place shocking they have a pile of boxes up there that just sit there night after night  its not the local pick up office its the main hubs that are to blame
