I think the only way of stopping the b******ds is to catch them at it and report them. I had a mate about a year ago who was woken in the night by their neighbour phoning them and saying do you know there are people taking the body pannels off your defender? and when they phoned the police the land line got cut and so too was the neighbours line. To go to the lengths of taking the landy appart on a drive! I cant do it in daylight let alone quietly in the dark!
If they want your disco they will have it and there is nout you can do I feel. You can either make it as hard as poss so they think twice about the effort or make it easy and hope you have all your toys insured with a good ins co.

Thos of us parked on our own land, 4 rawl bolds into the ground and use a big-ass bike lock to actually lock it down, visibly. Guess there isnt any reason you couldnt lock it to street furniture. Silly looking, and low tech, but its another 10 mins faffing about for the would be theif.

No disrespect, but why would anyone pinch that Disco - definitely not for the panels!!!

you could make a bar up that locks between the two front doors as in one long bar from ns door to os door and if you have it so it is at least 5 inches above the seats they cant sit in it. you would have to put in across the doors as you are sat in the back then just get out and lock it job done. I do a similer thing in my truck with a two ton strap stops anybody from opening the doors
