Finally got my copy of LRO and theres a story in there about how organised gangs are targeting Disco's & Defenders, apparently these vehicles are being stolen at an alarming rate.
I'll keep my eyes peeled up here in scotland for it.

denviks:
sorry to hear that another LR has gone missing. i will keep my eyes open down here.
after reading that article in LRO i have become more worried about my disco. i want to make it more sercure. it has the alarm an imobiliser on it but i dont think its enough. even i could get past that and im a dummy when it comes to things like that. i have thought about putting a stop lock on the steering wheel but i dont want to give them something to break the steering lock with. so mu next option is to run a chain around the clutch pedal and through bottom link on the steering wheel and pull it tight. not sure how well this will work. just thought it might stop them having the leaverage to break the steering lock.....
so are there any good ways to put the scum off then???
