Thieves!
JPJ:
The other day some guy in a white transit pulled up on the drive and offered to buy my Disco. Totally out of the blue, did ring the bell though. Was crawling all over the motor by the time SWMBO got out to him. She was the only one in and gave him no info but unfortuantely didn't get his number. Very suspicious - if you are this guy - sorry mate its not for sale! Same thing happened to my father-in -law in Wiltshire.... mmmmm!

The Tracker is one that needs to be well placed. The one on my dads wagon for example is welded inside a box which is then welded onto the chassis near the engine, I'd like to see them get that off in a hurry.

I don't know which one it is but one of the trackers has a built in alarm, if it's moved without your knowing it contacts it's control, who ring you to let you now you car's being knicked, as most are knicked in the wee small hours.
I've heard of cars being repsrayed and/or plates changed then being hidden in plain sight whils the dust settles, then being moved on if not found with 48 hours, just in case it has a tracker.
