when i took my theory test it was psvand hgv combined - so maybe you wont have to sit it again cos i think they last for about 3 years ?

It is worth getting the DVLA dvd for the theory test, it will help make it easier.
Shop around for the best price as it can vary a lot between companies, try and get one who will not charge for a retest in case of failure (not saying it will happen), the company we use operate this policy and beleive me we need it as we have gone down the road of getting non LGV drivers in and training them up and also we use eastern european drivers due to the short fall in this country. ( not ideal for customer sastifaction) now sending them to language school. :? :? :?
