IM A THINKING
yer auld aunt nelly:
As part and parcel of getting my mortgage i got a home improvement loan.
Part of which im thinking of going for my HGV lisence's
Has any one out there done so lately if so whats the crack?
How do they intend to get you to drive one of those in just 5 days?
It cant be that easy surely
Red Defender:
its easy - although you have to take a theory test for it ! before you start the 5 day course (they say 5 days but its usssually 5 half days with the fest on the last day. the down side i found was you get put on a probationary license (six points and your out - and you have to take all tests again - inc car !!!)
Colin 009:
Your half way there driving a Discovery,
You'll have to sit a theory test first then you go for the driving part, your'll also have to get provional L, to cover the vehicals you able to drive.
Red Defender:
forgot to mention - you have to get a medical form from the dvla and then go and see your GP - he may charge - mine did £20
yer auld aunt nelly:
Done theory and hazard twice I was a bit off a late bloomer in actually getting my car. 1999 i seem to remember and i took my PSV a year back.
So those dont bother me to much. But surely it cant be that easy on the practical? And im thinking of going for "the course"with clearstone.Does anyone have any experiancewith them?
