i had to do a similar thing with my series 3, moving it from kent to derby
i hired a freelander, and a trailer
cost me about £150 all told, including the hire and a 400 mile round trip in fuel

the clutch on the freelander was [!Expletive Deleted!] by the time i'd finished with it tho :)
twasnt mine so i didnt care
