Moving a landie up country
ajporter:
Does anybody have any suggestions / pointers on how to get a 110 up country from Gosport to Milton Keynes?
I have just landed a nice new job back up in the MK area, but am a bit stuck getting my 110 back home. It has been off the road for a few months while I have been sorting out some bits and pieces, and now it is stuck on my old driveway unti lI find a way to get it up here (and I am sure the new occupiers won't be impressed if I leave it there) :-(
Does anybody know any car transporter rental companies or companies who would be able to move a landie for a reasonable fee?
Any pointers much appreciated.
Cheers,
Tony

Do you have a tow vehicle ?
If so, get to your local trailer hire place and move it that way. Indespension in Southampton have a trailer that can move it, it's only about 30 quid a day.
Bob696:
do you have breakdown cover?
Change your address to the new one, leave it a week , push landy onto road, ring em up and save on the fuel costs into the bargin. If they act suspicious you were just picking some stuff up from the old house
strapping young lad:
or
take your landie to the nearest main line station
leave it there
then move up to your new location and take a train back to said station and pick up your car
simple
