Moving a landie up country

Cheers for all the replies:

Unfortunately my Disco isn't tow bar equipped so ruled out dragging it back up myself. I did consider "borrowing" the old mans 90, but a 2.5 diseasal pulling a 110 didn't really apeal.

Dyf, I really like your idea ... just a pity the 110 is off the road at the moment so undriveable. It has lost all oil pressure and I haven't had time to pull it apart and take a look.

As for using another landie (Freelander) I am tempted. The disco is in for the fuel tank recall next week and I will be getting a Freebie as a courtesy car - I wonder if it is tow bar equiped :-D

BlueCherokee - cheers for the offer. MK is my old haunting ground (as Turtle knows) but I moved "darn sarf" for work a few years back. I have to say, I am glad to be back up this end again :-)

Thanks all for the kind offers. I may be in touch. I have somebody who thinks they can get their hands on a trailer (and they have a suitable tow vehicle too) but if I am still stuck I may have to give somebody a shout. Again, many thanks and I will let you know how the saga pans out :-)

Tony
