personally i prefer specs to gatso for the same reason said previously

if you think about it you only have to slow down for that 10-20ft of lines on the road for a gatso, whilst hammering the rest,

but with specs you are stuffed.

not that it bothers me much but its not nice about to go through a gatso with an ar*e behind you slamming his anchors on just in time.

fact of the matter is people speed, never mind what people say or think here saying obey the law and what youve to worry about, people do and dont.

you do realise though that with the introduction of car charging and using gps to log your mileage, has anyone stopped and thought that these devices log your speed too

no need for gatso, no need for specs no more, your own car will grass you up.

Also B6004 from the railway crossing in Basford towards arnold

with the specs system it measures the average speed between 2 points so in theory you can speed within those points as long as you keep your average below the limit.

Ie in a 50 limit (like Northampton Lumbertubs way)  drive half(ish) at 70mph then then rest at 30mph and you be ok.

Now thats what I call safety!
