I think this refers to my truck - before that I had a 3.9 V8 auto with multipoint LPG which generally did about 12 mpg on gas.

LPG @ 65.9p per litre works out to about
Range Rover Blues:
We've just ben away with the TDi, a 300 Manual RRC, the caravan weighs 2 tonnes.
120 miles each way plus some tooling about without the 'van on. 500 miles (plus change) on a tank,

I still have a full size boot and spare wheel too  I replaced the petrol tank with an 80 litre LPG tank and 30 Litre side mounted petrol tank. Range is 160-180 miles on LPG just use petol for starting and stopping.
Around here LPG varies by about 25p per litre. I was lucky to find my supplier as they are not on any internet lists or advertising bar a sign outside. The hidden away places seem to be much cheaper than forecourts. Local taxi drivers know where they are!

DAVE V8:
as the early/even all 2 doors are starting to get a bit thin on the ground now, been looking and hoping to try and keep it fairly originalish !!! (apart from lift, wheels, tyres winch, sensible mods ?? etc, etc.lol)so hoping v8s the way as i intend to keep forever, that v8 burble, grin and useable mpg ,hopefully a mate thinks hes sorted me out a complete lpg set up off a disco (someone he knows gonna be using an early rusty disco v8 purerly for play days so he wont need lpg) ....so lpg looks like it may be the way forward for some affordable fun motoring..
