It must be some sort of new therapy or a motivator to get well - doing those jobs you need to do on the Landy :?  When Tazman is ever ill (rarely) he seems to suddenly spout off how many things he's going to do on the Disco once he feels up to it - and that's usually the next day :D

We had crap service from NHS Direct just over 3 years ago with our youngest - she kept throwing up and we were told it was the common Reflux and to give her Calpol - so we did, didnt make any difference so phoned again, Told once again it was reflux and to go and see GP on the Tuesday morning (it was Bank Hol W/E). 9 hours later poor little b*gger was on a drip in Pendlebury Childrens Hospital - Thank God the staff at the hospital were excellent

I`ve had some pretty frightening ongoing health problems lately and I have to say that in my case everyone from my GP to the people at Kettering General Hospital have been fantastic.  I know it isn`t the same for everyone but they`re not all bad.

Bob. you have my sincere condolences mate, but for every bad one theres a good un, i was unlucky enough to get wiped while riding to work on a motorcycle in 2003, paramedics there in mins and to heartlands i went to have my left foot put back on, all physio on nhs even tho i have privbate medical insurance cos the hospital by me (george elliott in nuneaton) could fit me in with no probs. fully healed now but only tnx to the nice doc. can't say they are all bad but the bad uns need striking (off!!). sue him and he'll think twice next time.

I agree totaly with everyone who said there are good uns n bad uns. Seems to be the GPs that have the highest proportion of inepts but it could just be me and the stories I hear.

Good enough to go to work today anyway. Spent 11.5 hours talking to the parents of the little darlings today which is easier than teaching the nice little kiddies.  :P
