K&N Filters

Andy.:
You can buy a product from K&N for cleaning it Cleaning kit, I've found it been enough with a mild rinse and a brush down.

Paul:
I gave it a good blowing out with the airline today and got most
to dirt and stuff out of it, did notice alot of rust in it this due to
the Mantec top being fitted facing forward and rusting quite badly.

Thanks Andy.

strapping young lad:
instructions say be careful with pressured cleaning (pressure washer or airline)

Andy.:
Blowing with an air line is a good option, when I've rinse mine I've dried it well before refitting. Never tried the cleaning gear myself, be interested to hear if anyone has  :?:

Andy.:
I'm sure common sense wins here, using an air line at the right distance away from the filter should be OK, up close blasting it might not do it any good.
