Thanks.
It's a standard holder with a damn big hole in it an an curved plated welded on the top. The curve of the plate matches the internal diameter of the wheel so it acts as a guide when putting the wheel on - meaning it's difficult to drop the wheel on the camera.
It has interchangeable centres for the light and bike carrier mount.
There's a notch cut out for a Disco 2 wiper. A bit of blasting and powder coating and Hey Presto!
The nuts are stainless with two modified studs to enable two extra nuts to be put into the holes which are normally empty.

If I were you, I'd get a patent on that :-k I'd buy it

Sorry - forgot to say that it is really designed as a working lamp. It takes its powered via a reverse circuit activated relay and it has an override switch. Day to day use it's never switched on.

I may have a go at making one myself! what have you got the camera linked to?

Thank you. The camera links to a monitor on the dash. It is wired up in three modes....
A Permanent
B With ignition
C With reverse.
It has two feeds, one from the camera and one from the central roof mounted DVD.
