So why did I buy a snorkel ?

Paul:
I carn't remember how long it took.

2 - 3 hours and you should have it done.

--- Quote from: "Colin 009" ---Hi Gords, shouldn't take more than a couple of hours.

The hardest part is cutting the first hole in the outer wing

Getting the hole in the inner wing to line-up with the outer is quite interesting as well!  :D
The outer wing holes are easy, you get a template that sticks onto the wing.

It took me about 4 hours to get it all in the right place and secured.
The mods to the filter box are easy to do and it makes a neat job of it. You only need the silicon to seal the drain holes and old intake in the airbox.
It's a very good fit, inside & out, and the instuctions are clear. You do have to remove the plastic wheelarch to get at the securing bolts though, unless you can reach them through the hole in the inner wing.  :?

So, a question to those going to Bala next weekend ... do you reckon we could fit a snorkel while the barbeque is warming up
