Challenger/L200 what's the difference?

(1/3) > >>

toger:
Can anyone give me the low down on the difference between these two vehicles please?

robbie:
the challenger was the original name for the Shogun Sport, which is the 'estate' version of the L200, same mechanics more or less but not a pickup

I think the name change was around X reg

I had the Shogun Sport. Good machine too, goto my website below, follow the gallery and look at the Yorks Dales piccies..... I didnt get it stuck anywhere :)

:( The page cannot be displayed :(

I will try again.

which do you prefer, Mitsi or Disco?

robbie:
the page should be fine now. I had miss-spelt the website name. Let me now if it still doesnt work please. I have changed the webname in the last week or so

With regard to the differences, they are both good in their own right. The Sport was really great but lacked ground clearance. If it hadnt been nicked.... I was going to raise it once the warranty was out. I never got it stuck anywhere and there was always lots of torque for off roading

The Disco is a little more comfortable than the sport and takes the bumps better. it has greater ground clearance and a difflock which does improve traction too

It is difficult to decide which is best, they are both good off road, both good on road. The Disco is a little quicker off the mark and a little better on fuel but the Sport looked betted I think, the Disco is a bit dated

Hope that helps :)

toger:
Doesnt the mitsi have locking diffs as standard?
