Only joking about the engine gearbox, both work and do there jobs as they should, as no history came with the motor, a damm good service and cambelt replacement to be sure is required.

The disco is very solid, no rust to speak of, all the things that need doing are cosmetic, the interior is very tatty, dashboard ripped away, and what annoyed Jim the most 150 mile journey and the radio didn't work (My did Jim - hehe  :D  :D )

The MOT ticket runs until Feb 2006? but it got to be questioned, headlight is smashed, and filled with putty, the other headlight is about to fall out, nothing holding in the battery, only one mirror, to mention a few.

I sure Jim will get it cleanup in the next few days fit some bigger boots and a lift   :D  Which will make it 100% better, shame we missed Sodbury.

And a few Wanted ads will apear for Jim.

But for the price, I believe its a bargin.

Hi Beast we had to travel to a little place called Hastingleigh to collect the motor, a few miles from Ashford in Kent.

We did indeed cross over the river, journey down was very uneventful, traffic heading home was another matter, conjested at the tunnel due to a wide load heading north, then a accident south bound just past the services, then the rest of the m25 wasn't to bad (different story south bound due to the accident), until the M1, which we got off and headed up the A5 after advice from some truckers that the M1 was conjested all the way up to junction 14.

A round trip of 265 miles    and  few coffee stops along the way  :D

I would have said the same, but last year I bought mine that way, travelled all the way up to Newcastle to fetch it, then drive it back.

But was worth it for what it was, never really let me down,
now there's a kiss of death saying that :?
