As regard to e-bay purchases, we went from Ashford to Swansea to pick up the latest 110. No problems at all with it, very happy and alot cheaper then 'normal' CSW prices.

Or do you mean backs on the front?

So did you put the long ones on the front thinking it needed to take more weight, that's why they are longer ?

Jim, My britpart springs were exactly the same length as the old ones on the front. Stood them side by side on the floor. There were more coils to the HD ones though. Fitted them and they stopped the front sagging so much and therefore gave me the desired 1" lift. The rears were definately 1.5" longer when off the motor than the old ones but with a load of kit in the back it's raised her up 1" at the back too, 1.5" when empty.

Looking at mine when the boot's full of tools and stuff, it still looks like it's sagging a bit, although it's not. If I continue to keep too much stuff in the back then I'll opt for Heavier Duty springs to maintain my 1.5" lift when fully loaded.

So are you going to swap them back again? Fronts to backs and backs to front ?

Piglet has 50% uprated rear springs. They do not sag or dip when the boot is fully loaded.

Fully loaded the rear is the same height as normal....

If you choose that option Neil, yes. I didn't. I chose a more road like spring that only gave me a slight lift when empty. Mine are rated at 220lb on the rear, I could have chosen 400lb ! Family car for everyday use, not just an off-roader :-)

Piglet was, until January this year, the main family vehicle. The drive is not harsh, I know a lot of people who have driven Piglet and no-one has ever thought he was harsh to drive....

A bit strange granted as the LSD's can sometimes cause him to selfcentre a little quicker than you might expect :-)

The "strange" thing I find now is when going from the RR to the Disco (apart from trying to put the keys in the hi-lo range shifter!), is that I can feel the springs....I know it sounds odd....but I can.
