All paid for cash up front. Some bought from a deceased estate. I guess there's about 15,000 quids of tools in my shed - maybe I should sell the tools and buy a better vehicle.

Sounds like an enjoyable Saturday then.
Were going to Langdale next weekend, might see you then, or will you still be weidling spanners underneath Stig.

A few of us from the area, might be venturing over the pennines on Sunday, to whitworth. So if xmob isn't working, might be worth a trip the other way :D

Thanks Drum,
There's quite a few of us going for a weekend at Langdale, so we will be heading East.
Was at Witworth last Sunday, very boggy, winch certainly earned it's keep, but a damm good day.
Thanks again, will hoepefully meet up with you guys soon as I see I'm in the same part of the world (Wakefield)
Dave
Skywalker:
This innocent looking hole full of gloop at Witworth took winch, 4 x Waffles, 2 x Spades & 1 Ground Anchor (Zuki) 3 helpers anf 45 mins to climb out of.
Many more got a lot more stuck though, day ended up as like winch challenge event.
Have fun, look forward to seeing the pictures.
Dave
hobbit:
Did alright this morning, me and the lad whipped out the pistons on the lightweight, ready for renewing the oil rings, although looking at them not sure whether they need them now. Still best weather today for a while to get it ready for later.
