Agreed.  A friend of mine was seconded to youth service a year or so ago, to babysit joyriders.  Apparently they don't think  you are the victim, they are the victims and you are driving aorund in their car.

That's some twisted logic you are up against, we will neveer be rid of theiving scum because they don't believe they are in the wrong.

The annoying thing is they probably only want to take it for a trash about and then burn it out as it's a bit hard to move a bright orange truck about without it being spotted by someone pretty quickly :doh: Unless you have some toys bolted to it they may be after?
So more than likely it's just a case of they like the look of it, think it will be fun to drive about for maybe 30 minutes to an hour, so they intend to take it from the guy who worked to pay for it and probably build it up just to burn it out when they've had there fun :troll: Now you tell me how much force is reasonable to not only prevent this crime but also to re-adjust the way they think so as to prevent more in the future :scold:
