Paint stripping

I strip mine right down, wire brush them and paint with Hammerite (not what it used to be).  They look fine until you use them, I wonder why I bother :?

Has that hook got a swivel base as well, or a fixed one. If your sankey has a 360 degree eye, no probs

Agree, no matter what you repaint them with around the inside jaw and the top locking part it will be rubbed off with use, even new ones.
