All new car speedos over read by up to 10%. This has been common practice for decades. It's an 'in-house' agreement that nobody will tell you officially  [-X What they never accounted for was the explosion of GPS useage in cars. People are now realising for themselves that this is the case.

Our BFG's mean the Freebie's speedo is only just over reading by a couple of percent now.

Yes I agree on the 10% thing, hence why I drive at 77 on the m-way as its only "really" 70. Thats why I overtake convoys who drive behind police cars.

Note its not all cars mind, my Elise reads bang on, I think a lot of the digital ones do as well.

Anyway thats all a bit off topic! But its nice to know that your not under reading.
