One of those complicated puzzles.

Mark_Solesbury:
ive ripped though chipbaord in the BandQ carpark before... just park right in the corner behind the mcdonalds/KFC/BurgerKing/PizzaHut (delete as appropriate)

Cut it roughly with about an inch over, then tidy up once at home.

Easy :)

Range Rover Blues:
Buy the 6ft/5ft and rip 2ft off the end of it in the carpark, you can lay it on the tailgate.  Who cares what you look like? just don't do it when it's raining ;)

How's the new truck BTW?

muddyjames:
new truck is lovely thanks RRB. I am slowly getting used to the size of it. Still a bitnervous of the back kicking out on me at some point.

I cant really describe the feeling but it is nice!!  :D The feeling of selling the other 2 cars isn't so nice!

william127:
Have you sorted this massivley taxing problem yet? :D if youve still got the disco can you not fold the seats down and use that? :D

muddyjames:
I have sorted it by thinking why am I pampering my dog to so much luxury?

I have decided the carpet is good enough and that will do!! Also if I screw the carpet to a bit of board and then need to put something dirty in the back, what do I do with the board/carpet set up? Just carpet I can roll up and put it on the back seats!

Job sorted and saved me money!

A quick update as well. I went to Chelmsford this weekend and did 7mph on the speedo needle (68 on sat nav) where I could and it just ate the miles up so smoothly and wuietly. In the m25 traffic jam it was ok as well.

I did 370 exactly when I reached Tesco just before home to fill up and I worked out my mpg, as I a sad like that (and I use a web site for help!) and I got 34mpg which is exactly what Ford says I should on motorway trips. Some of these miles was commuting to work too and some country lane driving and on the way home I had the air con on too. So all in all. So far a happy bunny.
