One of those complicated puzzles.

I need a few more brains to work out the puzzle for me.

I need some hardboard that is about 5ft-4ft to go in the back of my ford ranger for the dog to sleep on instead of the uneven load bay at the moment.

My local focus DIY does 2ft/4ft in thier largest sheet. I really want it in 1 piece.

My new Homebase does 6ft/5ft  Unfortunately they dont do onsite cutting like in some old stores. So, I cant transport it home unless I borrow a van. I have access to a van. Only downside being the car park has a height barrier.

So, how do I get the bit of hardboard home to fit it? Only option I can think of is either saw it in the car park or phone around all homebase and B&Q stores to see if they do a trimming service.

Very annoying though!

Disco-Ron:
The width is easy, it'll go in the ranger at an angle..... the length, well,  just leave the back open....... but tie it in!!!!!!!!!!

Go to a propper timberyard , they will cut it for you and be half the price , though I would glue some needle cord (cheap carpet) over the board or the dog will be bouncing off the sides of the truck , you'll get a bong noise with every corner ...

Have  you seen a dog trying to run on laminate floor
