OOPS problem need help.. just knackered plug thread in head

think u still can , has to be the best way of saving it

u may have to take the head off as u will prob end up getting bits of alloy down the bore

with the head of its a 10 min job to tap a bigger thread and insert a helicoll

Hi it can be helicoiled while still on the motor using a bull nose helicoil tap (14mm at bottom going to bigger size for helicoil) put grease on the tap this stops most of the alloy swarf going into the chamber then give it a good blow with an airline before fitting plug we've done this loads of times at work hope this helps
