Lord Shagg-Pyle:
Regarding the licence; Use, Cause, Permit as the Road Traffic Act says.
In relation to the 'Amber' aspect, I was told on every single driving course I've done, treat Amber as a Red, because there may be someone jumping the lights the other way.
Sorry mate, you have a certain amount of sympathy, but not much. I've picked up the remains too many times.

carbore:
I think you have been very silly as you knew you couldn't drive it, however as I have a pre 1997 license it would appear that I am entitled to drive such a vehicle so (legality aside) I don't think you have committed a crime against humanity as I am no more qualified than you to drive such a truck.

Also you need to think about what you are driving and not play the "london rules" game when you have 4 tonnes of truck to pull up etc etc.

Lyndsey731:
I've read your posts before and as an enthusiast you seem reasonably sensible even if your ideas can be a bit out there, but on this occasion you prove yourself to be a bloody idiot, comments of "London green", "dropped a gear" and "I was told to do it" are the pathetic ramblings of an immature 19 year old. To do it in the first place wasn't a brilliant idea but to put it in writing and go for a sympathy vote shows the intelligence of a retarded amoeba at best. I'll give you an example, Wednesday evenings I go the pub with some mates, last week I came back from the toilet to find two of them on their mobiles, the reason being some idiot had raced through a red light less than half a mile away and both parties were being cut out of their vehicles, my mates were phoning their kids to make sure it wasn't them, had my 3 been old enough to drive I would have been doing the same.

Rich_P:
"London Green" rule, what's that?  :-.

freeagent:
Personally I hope you loose your licence, as it might teach you a lesson.

You shouldn't have been driving it. Nuff said.
