hamsters

Many many moons ago while I was still living at home my sister had one (well she had a few actually) but this one was a bloody escape artist..!!!!! we lost it once for a couple of days. Anyway, one morning it was found laying on the kitchen floor with half it's face all burnt and only just alive..!!! Long story short.....it had squeesed behind one of the kitchen cupboards and decided to chew through the power cable for Mum's brand new built in dishwasher...!!!!!!! how it survived the electric shock is beyond me...!!!!

But my sister, loving all small creatures paid an arm and a leg at the vets to try and save said hamster including nightime bottle feeds, poor thing lasted 3 weeks before it finally gave up the will to live.....and it wasn't cheap to get the dishwasher repaired either...lol

Personally I'd rather have a cat or a dog...lmao.

Mark.

A mate of mine used to rent a room on a farm and the lad who lived ther assured me that if you threw stones at the lama it would do a funny dance...
