i did the mac last year in the 2.5td 110 and it was sooooo   slow....i hit a hill in scotland and it crawled up it ... :-.

good luck on the mac this year..... this is the 1st one i have missed in 4 years......

I did it last year with the 2.5 petrol complete with manifold blow last year, I dont think it will be that much louder... Ok so its much worse but what the hell.  I did 160 miles in it yesterday so I know what I am getting myself into!   :lol:

At least this year it should get up the hills, was awful last year.  I remember changing down to first gear on some hills on the road last year, there was a moment where I thought I might need low box - on tarmac  :roll:

I hate to disagree....  I reckon they were either just very similar hills or you got as lost as we did..... :D  We took some seriously interesting detours!  Its all good fun though isnt it!

ah that explains alot then :lol:

it was always worrying seeing another team pass you in the other direction knowing that one of you was wrong  :lol: ( normaly us )

its brilliant fun thats for sure.....
