Fitting discovery transfer box to early 110....

Not to steal a thread or anything but....

I'm looking at converting a 2.5td into a 200 tdi, do i keep the gearbox and change transfer box and engine then?

If so is a mot fail disco best plan?

Take out engine put disco engine in easy !
The disco gearbox is to long, if you are changing the transfer box as well change the gear in it to a cross drilled one as oil can't get to the output shaft off the gearbox and it will wear out the shaft.
Try Ashcrofts they will tell you what you need to do.

Whatever you do - don't forget to put a bead of sealant between the mating faces of the gear cases.
