Roads and the state of them
beast5680:
is anyone else finding the state of our roads is getting to a point where you need an offroader to drive them? Having just been to the inlaws we took the fiesta to save on the fuel and to be honest i wish i,d taken the landy  some of the potholes are big enough to lose the flippin car in
Iknow we have just had/having a cold spot but they have been bad for a while and thats just made it worse as the surface falls to bits
you now have quite large stones coming off other vehicles wheels and bouncing off your car as well so i wonder if windsceen sales have gone up :-k
eugene:
i have noticed since all the snow and frost there are lots of holes and cracks appearing all over the place and i travel about 2500miles aweek all over the country
pux:
I have already damaged a tire and alloy on my mondeo due to the Third world roads we have here
Gordo:
Oxfordshire used to be famous for its "Failed Roads" - ones in such bad condition the council erected signs disclaiming responsibility.
Rich_P:
Whenever I use my father's car I realise how poor the road conditions are, and this recent weather isn't helping the cheap patchwork-quilt type roads we have.
