ABS help please
BigA:
i have had another thought (the old grey cells take a bit to get going these days) the first time i had to reset my ABS, i cleared all the faults, and the light would not go out. Like you suggest, I ended up replacing the relay that had to be removed to do the test, and that fixed it.

I bought a replacement green (which is now yellow????) relay today to try and have ordered a black one..
Thanks for the info.
Hopefully I'll have an update tomorrow.

Quick update for anyone who's interested. The new yellow relay should have been green.
I opened up the packet today to find that the relay was minus 1 pin.
When I bought it from the MAIN DEALER I did question the fact that it was yellow and should have been green. 'No sir that's the correct one'...
Anyway needless to say I now need to return it and get a green one.
Hopefully a more positive update next time.

Just a quick update. And to help with future searches.
I've now replaced the pump relay and the ABS light is now out. To remind everyone I was getting a 2-3 code.
I've only done a short drive but all seems to be well.

BigA:
glad you got it sorted at last
