S188:
I'm guessing that relay is the flasher unit for the indicators? They are controled by the milatry light switch as they only work when the lights are in some positions. If you wire them up wrong you can make them buzz so check its not shorting and wired right. Hazard switch if fitted can cause problems with indicators too.
Headlamp is probubly a bullet conector around the front pannel if one side works - give it a wiggle. If you think the headlights are crap, which is almost sertainly true then throw them in the bin and fit a pair of Cibie H180's with decent H4 bulbs along with relays and clean earths - with that you'll have headlights better than some modern cars and it'll make other "halogen conversions" look like sealed beams (the Ring ones are definately worth avoiding).

does look like a flasher relay maybe, do you have a 'infra-rad' switch on the instrument panel? maybe above 6 way switch, my infrared switch turns on only the headlights so could help track the cause of problem?
stratie:
If it is the flasher relay, then why do the winkers still work?
Every thing works as it should, apart from one head light.
When i first bought the truck i was playing with the switches as you do. I hit this switch and got the buzzing noise.
So i filcked it off and thought nothing of it.
stratie:
Then i went out for a drive with a mate, when we got back the spot lights were on, and wouldn't switch off?
So i pulled out the inline fuse to knock the spots out.
stratie:
It was a few days later when i took the truck out again. It was getting dark-ish, so i put the lights on, all was well untill i put the heater on. Thats when i got the buzzing noise again, and the only way to stop the buzzing noise was to turn off the lights.
Im 99.9% sure, that the buzzing noise is coming from the relay behind the dash.
Im know sparky, so im stuck.
I can buy a new relay, but what if it still makes that noise?
