1" lift rear only - Update

<< < (2/4) > >>

TDi.Si:
Mine runs Britpart 1'' lift springs, very soft which gives me good flex, not the best on road but its not a sports car I don't care.

bambamjj:
Just ordered from Paddocks, Police rear springs and pro-comp +2" shocks, but will i be able to use the shock?  8-[

J B:
you should be ok with the procomp, ive got em , albeit with the 20mm spacers under the springs

Range Rover Blues:
The red/white when new will give you about an extra inch, they aren't meant to be lifted though so as they run-in expect them to sag.  Stiffer springs, well yes H/D.  Most lifted springs are uprated anyway to account for the extra high C of G, plus on a RRC you loose the benifit of the self-leveling shock ontop of the diff.

You can run plus 2" shocks and still get the axle onto the bump stop, so they will be fine though you may get a small amount of dislocation.  Standard height cars should have no problem with this, your you'll have to see.

bambamjj:
Well managed to get rear end stripped out, ARB off tank guard on, just waiting for ARB parts to turn up new Police rear springs and 2"+ pro-comp shocks, hoping springs and shocks will come off easily been soaking tonight in GT85 (think that is name).

Been told by Paddocks that i should replace all 4 shocks to the same type?  Not sure why.  When i do the front shocks gonna do springs then, any recommendations should i fit police springs to the front.

Once again your advise is appreciated
