So you don't get any wind noise from the brick like shape at 70mph?
Reggieroo:
Just got back from the shop & after measuring the 265/75/16 special track it was 32" tall. They only had the Insa Turbo Sahara in 235/85/16 & that was also 32" tall. I put it up against my own 235/35/16 Macho & the special track was about an 1" taller so it seems that all the different makes differ in size.
The Insa special track looked like a really good tyre though, the chap also recommended the new Kumho KL71. Just waiting on a price for 285/75/16.

70mph :-'
Lets just say at crusing speed my LSE is very quiet, no worse than a Mondeo at least.
Blue is noisey because of the tyres and the diffs are screwed, plus the exhaust.

i've been running insa special track 265/75R16 for over a year now
they are around 33inch tall
amazing in the sticky stuff and for climbing up hills / rocky stuff etc etc
cheap as well
do it...!

I can imagine your LSE is quiet as its probably quite mint & standard. Mines probably more like blue then with noisy diffs, tyres etc.
