What gets me is the fact there are people who need 4X4 for business purposes, for example farmers, gardeners, landscapers etc. What are they supposed to use to tow 3 tonnes around and still be legal?

I had a woman come up to me and have a go about my Disco. I looked at her car (a little fiesta or something of that ilk) and asked her if I could borrow her car to tow 2.5 tonnes. I got a rather blank look until she realised that her earth saving little car would be absolutely ............. if anyone tried to do that. Best bit was, I managed to keep a straight face!  :D

the other problem of course is the value of many 4 x 4's has been drastically reduced because of fuel/tax price hikes

i'm a bit like the american gun lobby '...out of my cold dead hands...'

i'll keep my GC regardless because i love it and being disabled its an absolute godsend getting in/out

yes i'll moan about tax and fuel prices but i still look at SRT8's and Cayenne Turbo's for my next purchase :dance:
