All the ones I have heard sound like a tractor, and rightly so they should!  Proper diesel engines.  :wink:

my 200tdi runs a bodged up 2.5" side exit exhaust,
the turbo muffles most of the noise til you open the throttle  :twisted:
mine has apparently caused small children to spontaneously burst into tears :D

my 110 Doublecab has a straight thru with side exit..sounds awesome and ya can hear the tweeked turbo whilst....like a diesel train :grin:
