Who? pheasants or fly tippers?

You'll have to shoot both or one of them will complain about you being prejudiced

Is there a closed season on fly tippers?

Pheasants are fine by me. We've had one in the garden and he was no trouble to anyone. The individuals who shove empty takeaway cartons in our hedge however...

Hi,

i have taught my two to respect their elders, and this often includes older kids, we had an incident where a group of teenagers were intimidatingly lurking, we had to walk past and the girls very politely asked them to move aside to allow us thru, they just moved without any issues.

often, they just don't want to be dissed just for being teenagers!

however, there are some utter monsters around, like the one at school who is currently assaulting one of the girls on a daily basis.  i will be going in today and advising the school that, despite previous letters, the abuse is still going on with the result that she is now saying that she is scared to attend school.

i will be prepared to take the matter further as we are logging all assaults - teachers are sending this monster out of the class for attacking my girl, but nothing is actually being done about it.

can i contact the police re this?  there is physical force being used as well as insults being yelled at her and he also gets his cousin to stand with him either side of her and scream loudly in her ears at the same time.

i must admit i have considered taking other action, but as usual, he has all the protection of the school despite being the aggressor and we have none.

regards

ela

I would demand stronger action from the school and ask them what their anti-bullying policy is. After that it would be a snotty call to the education authroity, quoting the Human Rights Act. If they say 'we have to think of the boys rights', gently remind them that the law is there to protect the law abiding majority. If they still decline to do anything, tell them that you will be informing the Police; they may not like the publicity. Make sure that every incident is documented and any evidence obtained i.e physical injuries photographed or logged at your GP. If any change in behaviour of the victim is noticed, get that documented as well.
If a systematic pattern of abuse and harrasement can be shown, the school are failing in their duty of care towards this lass, and in a roundabout way, the offender as well.
The Police may be reluctant to get involved unless all other avenues have been covered, but if you can show that that has been done, they should take it on.

Best of luck

I get it all the time i'm a bus driver and do school runs and well best way to describe it is a mobile zoo they are wild the abuse you get and the language i dare swear in front my mum she would give me a hiding back then, but "the new generation" of kids is out of control and theres sweet fa we can do, what happened to the days of parents giving curfews, respect your elders and aloud to give ya a smack for misbehaving, 2008 has none of this sorry to say.
