I still run my v8 but in lpg it costs me about £30 per week to run do about 180 miles a week in her so not to bothered at the moment. But still think fuel prices are just getting stuiped now

well we run the disco on 100% bio (89ppl) and hubby will be using his suzuki 400 for work from tomorrow - he has also applied for a position in Telford so if that comes off then we will be looking for a small diesel - summat like a 106 d or metro d ..or maybe even a - MOPED   :shock: :shock:

our government complains that the price od crude has gone up - yet the Yanks are still paying about £1.50 a gallon...makes interesting reading when you go on a yank 4x4 site - and they complain about paying $3 a gallon...then someone from the UK pipes up and says that we are paying close on $10 ..

To save moneyi have taken two steps
1. Running the disco on biodiesel (95.9p ltr) which is helping but is still a pain in the a*** due to driving 30miles a day just getting to work  :shock:
2. i have just brought a 1.6 astra petrol which will be my daily driver
This way i wont have to get rid of the disco and also i can now start modifiying it again and still have a car to get to work in  ;)

 For some time now i run a 1.0 nova for work, 40+  per gallon, and only take the V8 disco out in anger

Im thinking of getting a second vehcile to use for work......Not sure if i could justfie running a second car though,tax,mot,insurance etc etc

Like ive said before fuel and everthing else is going up in price but the wages arent :huh:
