abs light
Jake:
My ABS light was staying on and it turned out to be the sensors
A little tap on the top of them (helps them seat correctly) and all is well again
:afro:
scooby:
tryed the whole lot know even cleaning the sensors up gone over the whole car and light now does not even go off like it did and comes back instead it on all the time. I think i wll have to find a man with a laptop and pay out to see what that says about it.
As its an amber abs wrn light would it be safe to drive around.
Thanks for the help.
NIVAD:
My abs was frightening-it just would judder when ever it felt like in nomal conditions.
The arse i had brought it off had taken the bulb out.
In the end i just un-pluged the pump under the bonnet and its been fine--no abs though!
Range Rover Blues:
And no brakes either!
If you have a fault in an ABS system you must get it fixed. It should not pass the MOT without it and it certainly isn't roadworthy.
The BAS system on Disco 1 can easily be diagnosed at home using the blink test, it's in the workshop section now.
