What MPG do you get?
lambert:
Could go for a v8 or gas conv but it only does about 5 thousand miles a year so it's not that important.
Besides it uses fuel, i fill it up some more such is life when i can't afford to do that i'll sack it off for somat else.
andrew2986:
just used that internet milage thingy, apparently im getting 11.82 mpg on my V8 disco on lpg, then realised im only paying 50p per litre for lpg so thats like 22ish adjusted mpg, (if you know what i mean)
quite happy with that !!
Ja1983:
my 2.4N/A hilux pickup got around 50miles to £10, when fuel was sub £1/litre
disco varies a lot, the worst i`ve done is 110miles on £35ish, which was just after i`d tinkered the pump, and went joyrding with happy pedal to the deck everywhere.. novelty wore off at the petrol station!
generally i`m getting between 50-70miles on £10ish derv, although i do slip veg oil in up to 50% (weather dependant) so difficult to say exactly..
so with derv at around £1.09/l 50 miles = 24mpg
and 70 miles = 34mpg
i`ve been on a first aid course this week, giving me a 25mile drive each way... with the pleasures ( :^o) of a1 tyne tunnel traffic... (1.5hrs!!) and i`ve put around £60 derv, and a few bottles of sunny oil in... so, 200 miles (4x25 - with a bit of butty runs/getting lost) on about 55l = 16mpg....
driving to loud music (metallica) probably didnt help much!
but generally speaking my disco 200tdi gives 24-34mpg ;)
Pete:
Disco 200 TDi Average 35 mpg mainly local runs maybe 12 miles max.
I zero trip after every fill up, always top the tank right to the brim.
Best ever mileage was 47 brim to brim on a couple of trips down to Hereford, cruising at just over 60 mph on motorways. That seems to be the most economical speed for my car, on 265/70s.
Pete.

I think you need to look at your Maths again.
My Dad & I Drove Disco 22tdi's for over 15 years between us and 35 was a very good MPG, long run only job.
Yes 60-65 is a good speed but 47 is very optimistic.
