With regards to the tyre rating, i run Q rated (99mph) tyres on my 3.9 v8 discovery. I told my insurers (adrian flux) and they didnt have a problem with it.I have it in writing just incase though and i would advise everyone to do the same!

Thing is I think it goes a bit further than telling your insurance company, it's also C&U regs or something like that, so it's a legal point rather than just a modification.

Yes its an Auto, and RRB is right, Construction and Use Regs, may still have a copy, will dig it out.
Not going to involve Insurance, Will get new tyres, shame really as the G90's in mud are amazing.

And perversly, becasue Blue was built as a 3.5 which IIRC should only do 100MPH then I can fit Q rated tyres, even with a 3.9 or bigger :?
